Restaurante Picanha is a simple, charming restaurant offering Brazilian cuisine in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

Picanha is a Brazilian term used to describe the rump cover cut of beef considered by many, and especially in South-American countries, to be the best cut due to its marked flavour and tenderness. In this restaurant, the picanha cut is served grilled and garnished with salad, rice, frijole beans and roast potato. For those who don't wish to eat meat, it is also possible to order the grilled grouper fish (mero) option.

The meat at this restaurant has the 'Ternero AnGus Certificado' certificate, awarded by the Argentinian association of the same name, and which guarantees the best quality pure bred animals are used for the meats.

To accompany your food in true Brasilian style, try the caipirinha made with the world-famous Velho Barreiro cachaça, or sugar-cane licquor, or the freshly squeezed natural tropical fruit juices made from mango, passion fruit, guava or cajú (cashew apple).
