My wife and I visited this restaurant on 15 October 2010 to celebrate a
birthday. It was not a successful experience. The maitre is an insolent
fellow. When we asked about the various steak cuts on offer. He replied
that he had never been to Argentina and so could not know. Not a good
start.
On arrival we asked for a non-smoking table. We had just started our main
course when a group of businessmen were seated in a small adjacent room and
proceeded to light cigars before even ordering food. The room is not sealed
in any way from the rest of the establishment and so the stink surrounded
us in seconds. We protested and they moved us about two more metres further
away.
We finished our steaks, paid and left without dessert. The food was
acceptable but with the inadequate maitre and the smoky environment we will
not be going back.
